WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28: SOMOS LATINO AMÉRICA Y EL CARIBE
ALAS will be hosting our Latinx Heritage Month event, “Somos Latino América y El Caribe ” to celebrate and honor our cultures and identities. There will be cultural performances, traditional foods, and games. In the past we have hosted a carne asada, however, this year, we want to be more intentional about showcasing the diversity of Latin America, bringing you an opportunity to engage with a program that represents our Latinx students at Augsburg, including countries like Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, and more.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28: THE BLACK CIRCLE SERIES – A YEAR WITHOUT BLACK SPACES
In this circle talk series, we will be discussing different topics regarding the student body, specifically black-identifying students. The purpose is to educate and create a community on campus in accordance with Augsburg’s mission. Prepare to engage and collaborate with others as we find ways to uplift members of our Augsburg community.
This is a new dialogue series, so please come and show your support! Stay tuned as they will happen once a month during the fall and spring semesters. Pan-Afrikan Student Services will be collaborating with other campus partners to be sure we are reaching members of our close-knit community.
Our first event will take place on September 28, 2022, at Riverside Room from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
