We hope you have had a wonderful WINTER BREAK—all rested and ready to embark on the new semesters. No doubt, we look forward to seeing you back on campus this week. It’s been very quiet here without you! Enjoy the sun and the winter wonderland! We recommend making snow angels as often as you can.

Filing TAXES for the 2022 year
As you ALL know, all international students are REQUIRED to file taxes for the 2022 year. This is the case even if you HAVE NOT worked. Please visit our website page regarding taxes, and set up a time with BSC (you will follow a link to their scheduling platform). This is a company we have hired to help you with your tax filings (at no cost to you). Your meeting with them should take during the month of January, 2023.
GeoBlue Enrollment Form
We are still waiting to hear from a some of you about your Health Insurance for Spring 2023. Again, you need to fill out this GeoBlue Enrollment Form – EVEN IF you decide to OPT OUT. You are NOT in compliance with your student visa if you do not have health insurance coverage EVERY SINGLE DAY you are in the United States (even during breaks).
Mentor Program
All current mentors will soon hear from the ISSS office in terms of your obligations for this next semesters. With new students arriving, others graduating and some transferring, there are always some changes to the mentor and mentee roster. Some of you will receive new mentees this semester, while also supporting the ones assigned to you in the beginning of academic year.
Please stop by our office at ANY time. You are always welcome, however if you need to meet with Bettine privately we encourage you to schedule a ONE-ON-ONE meeting here.
