ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified applicants must have:
- Bachelors of Science/Arts in Nursing (or Associates Degree in Nursing AND non-nursing bachelors degree)
- A current, unencumbered nursing license
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
*Students must have completed a statistics course prior to enrolling in NUR 520: Research Methods in Nursing. This is not an admission requirement to the university.
DEADLINES
Admission is on a rolling basis. Students are encouraged to submit an application early to ensure a smooth transition. We will review applications until the start of each term, or when enrollment reaches capacity.

Online Application
Complete the online application form.
Recommendation
In an effort to remove barriers for our prospective students, we do not require a letter of recommendation. However, applicants have the option to include a reference for a letter of recommendation when submitting the online application.
Personal Essay
Write a 1-2 page personal essay. Describe your personal and professional goals.
RN License Verification
Include your RN license number in your application for verification. Students are expected to have a current, unencumbered license to enroll.
Transcripts
Applicants must submit an official transcript(s) from the regionally-accredited institution granting the Bachelor’s degree and from the most recently attended institution, if not the same. Military veterans are required to submit all official transcripts from previously attended institutions to qualify for military benefits.
In the case where prerequisite requirements exist or transfer credits or waivers are sought, official transcripts are required from institutions at which the prerequisites or equivalents were completed. The Program Director may ask for additional transcripts if determined to be necessary.
